Melissa Smith Abbott Interview Part II

As promised here is part II of my conversation with Melissa Smith Abbott

I’m pretty sure we could have easily done parts III IV and V as Melissa has so much to say.

You can visit her website here-http://www.anadamabreadbook.com/

The Mrs read through it on the beach yesterday and said it was very cool and noted that for someone who grew up around here it would be extremely interesting.

Gloucester Up Close and Personal

“Another opener! Judythe Meagher opens her solo exhibit “Gloucester Up Close and Personal” at the North Shore Arts Association, starting today and showing through the 31st. These new works promise to be even more spectacular than the watercolors, oils and acrylics found at her Rocky Neck gallery.  She is hosting a reception on Friday, August 20th, 5-7.”

Breaking News- Look Out For Counterfeit $20 In Gloucester

The Gloucester Police Department has just reported that a counterfeit $20.00 bill has been discovered in downtown Gloucester.  The police say that typically there are a lot of bills circulated quickly.

Please be on the lookout for a poor quality twenty.  The bill will feel more like paper than legal currency.  It is the bill with Jackson’s head in a circle;  the bill is darker.  Generally the counterfeit bills will carry the same serial numbers, so look for repetition.  If you turn up a counterfeit, immediately contact Gloucester police at (978) 283-1212.  If the perpetrator is in the store, call 911.
