I was conversing with my other better half this morning, Izzy
. She thinks this promotion of free Cats adoptions and discounted dog adoptions is a great idea. Izzy says you better get there when they open today because she thinks all the dogs will be adopted today.
But free cats?! What! Izzy says “you couldn’t give them away”. Hopefully she’s wrong and all the animals will find a great home today.

A collection of over 175 juried Artists and Craftsmen from throughout the U.S. will display their unique creations, live music, plus delicious ethnic foods including a pancake breakfast (sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gloucester) on Saturday to help kick off this picture perfect seaport event!
Free live “family style” entertainment includes Celtic, Ragtime Bands, Country and Folk Music and Just Like Newman from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday. Additionally, North Shore Old Car Club will display over 75 Antique Autos on Sunday.
The Gloucester Waterfront Festival runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. Handicap Accessible and friendly pets, on a leash, are welcome. Admission is FREE and the event will be rain or shine! more info

Paintings may be dropped off at the Library starting on Tuesday August 30, 2016 Noon to 7pm. Wednesday August 31, 2016 10am to 4pm. and Thursday September 1, 2016 12pm to 4pm.

My favorite part of my job is matching customers color requirements.
Today PMS 299c is the color of the day.
Had to add a little fried egg to get the match and it worked.

I’ve received emails regarding my Dad’s Paintings and if they are for sale. Now that the weather is better I will be able to show them to anyone interested in purchasing. I have many left that are just sitting in the storage unit not being enjoyed. There are just so many that can hang on my walls. The sizes of the paintings range between 5″x7″ and up. The price range is $75.00 and up.
