NBC’s Minute To Win It To Feature Melissa Busfield From Gloucester MA

image

The August 24th "East VS. West" episode will feature Melissa Busfield from Gloucester, MA competing against Erica Sanchez from Orinda, CA for the million-dollar prize!

On August 24, it’s East vs. West as girls from opposite coasts compete for the grand prize. Melissa Busfield from Gloucester, Mass., competes against Erica Sanchez from Orinda, Calif., for the $1 million prize. Their first challenge is the game Paper Dragon, in which they must unspool two rolls of party streamers using only their hands and arms. The girls will compete head-to-head in the first three challenges and whoever wins the most out of the three challenges continues to compete for the $1 million. Later, Atlanta Hawk cheerleaders Stephanie Ming and Kaylin Reque compete as a team to win money to support their disabled parents.

Judy O’Malley writes-

Dear Joey,
I’m attaching a flyer with information on the event that the Unitarian Universalist Society of Rockport will be holding on September 4th at both Spiran Hall and the UU church in Rockport. It would be wonderful if you are able to include this information in Good Morning Gloucester, as we hope this will be a fun Labor Day weekend activity for Cape Ann residents and visitors of all ages.
Thanks so much for your help,

http://www.goodmorninggloucester.com
Hi Joey,
My sister and neice were in San Diego last week, so I gave them a sticker and asked them to take some pics. I couldn’t decide which was the best pic, so here are 5 to choose from. By the way, my neice, is en route to the Philippines for a 2.5 year stint in the Peace Corps. Once she is settled, she will take some pictures with the sticker on whatever island she is assigned to. stay tuned!
Best regards,
Valerie Marino

“Good Morning”

Do you normally great people in the morning with a hearty “Good Morning”?

It puts everyone in a great mood and is a nice starting point for any conversation but sometimes I’m mystified at how difficult it seems for some people to utter the words.

Think about it this morning when you’re out and about and what image you are projecting.  You can usually disarm the most cynical miserable people that you’ll meet throughout the day with a warm smile and a hearty hello!
