Little Sanda should be fully restored and retired to the Gloucester Marine Heritage Center, along with some other famous floating Gloucester icons! This posted on newsvine, and searching for information on F/V St. Rosalie.

I love the “Manufactory” legend on the side of the building. My uncle, Jim Abbott owned Gloucester Paints (nee Tarr and Wonson and Henderson and Johnson) when I was just a kid. I once asked him about that terminology, and he said it was on the building when he got it, and they never saw a reason to change it. I’ve always liked it to the point where I put a similar sign on the main doors going into our pipe organ shop (GHP Associates) in Attleboro. Ya gotta pay it forward, as I always say…
