Donna Ardizzoni is the definition of Good Egg. The woman is everywhere! She volunteers to help pick up before AND after the Block Parties, she volunteers to help with the Gloucester Tri, she organizes the weekly One Hour at a Time Gang which picks a spot around the city and cleans it up and she also contributes photos for GMG!

Talking to Joe Borge, son of Lone Gull owner Joe Borge, he told me about a band he plays in- Your Favorite Ex.

While at Russell Orchards I picked up a bottle of Raspberry Vinegar. I just picked some of my cucumbers out of the garden, sliced them up and poured the vinegar over. Yummy treat for a hot day.

Triggerfish At Captain Joe’s
Day before yesterday Aaron on The Lady Margaret brought in this Triggerfish. In my 33 years down the dock and after handling a bajillion pounds of fish at our dock I’ve only seen a couple of these. The wikipedia page on Triggerfish is pretty interesting. It says they are normally found in warm coastal waters of the Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Indo-Pacific. This one must have followed it’s way up the jet Gulf stream.
