Joe, you should grab a grass-finished steak from their freezer–it’ll change your life!

Grass finished steak?
What type of technique makes it grass finished?

The cows are fed grass rather than corn. The cow’s digestive track is built for grasses rather than grains. I really high quality beef will have yellow fat, higher in omega-3 than corn fed. Corn is used because if fattens the cattle faster, but it also creates an inferior product. Feeding grass takes more work and the cattle are leaner, but the beef does taste much better.
Thanks for doing Common Crow. It is a weekly stop the MRS. and me.

Joey! We love the Common Crow so this is awesome. You need to watch Food Inc! Rob and I saw it at the Cape Ann Cinema! It will clear up the whole why pay more for Organic thing.
Don’t feed the bean and snoop mad (not to mention you and the Mrs) e coli!
I once heard an interview with a big beef cattle rancher who had turned vegan. He said that the only beef safe enough to eat is grass fed (and finished) and predicted mad cow and e coli before it happened.
