Niño, Oldest Son Pietro, and Maria Cannova with their beautiful altar.

After giving the interview for the St. Joseph film project, Niño gave Felicia the lovely poster of St. Joseph for her altar. He also gave both Felicia and I each a salted and seasoned salmon. Niño travels to Alaska to work on salmon fishing boats. He suggested serving the salmon with fresh lemon, and I did, and it was delicious!! Thank you Canovva Family for your beautiful gifts and warm hospitality.

Nino is a Sweetheart! He is Maria’s right hand man and loves every order Maria sends his way! I had the pleasure of helping them both make their St. Joseph Pasta this year…. with 3 machines running, and several good friends working in an assembly line fashion… Maria & Nino’s “Pasta” was finished in less then 4 hours! We had such a great day! Thank you for welcoming us into your home and sharing your story…The Smoked Salmon was delicious and I will for ever treasure the St. Joseph Photo and think of you both each year when I set up my altar<3
