The Women’s Fund of Essex County is hosting their annual fundraising event at the Brookwood School, 1 Brookwood Road, Manchester, on Wednesday evening, April 4th, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Power of the Purse is a ladies’ evening of fabulous hors d’oeuvres, wine, and purse raffle. Proceeds help fund special projects and annual grant awards made by The Women’s Fund to Essex County non-profit agencies that fund programs supporting women and girls in need.
The cost is $35 and $40 at the door. For more information contact the Women’s Fund.

Thanks so much for posting this fund raising event. The Women’s Fund of Essex County is our correct name. We raise and distribute funds for programs in Essex County that empower women and girls. This year we are granting $100,000 in to fund Economic Self-Sufficiency programs at 12 agencies. Power of the Purse is one of our fund raisers. Tickets are available on our website.
