Viva ! Missing Fiesta ! From Alice Gardner

Hi !
Hope you and your family are doing well .
I had to take a walk around Gloucester this morning to celebrate Saint Peter’s Fiesta . I visited Saint Peter at Saint Peter’s Club and visualized the beautiful altar at Saint Peter’s Square and many sights and sounds of the Carnival .
The Bookstore has a nice display of Fiesta children’s  books that will put everyone in the Fiesta spirit : “Nona, What is St. Peter’s Fiesta ? by Laura Ventimiglia as well as  my book “ Saint Peter’s Fiesta , Gloucester , Massachusetts .”
“Saint Peter’s Fiesta , Through the Years” complied by The Young Men’s Coalition is also on sale and is filled with fascinating old photos of past Fiestas.
Enjoy Saint Peter’s Fiesta weekend . 93rd year !
Viva !

House Swap

Hi Joey!

Love your stuff!!!

It’s enough to tempt us to make the move permanently, but alas my son and his bride-to-be plan to settle in the Cape Elizabeth, Maine region within a few years, and we nixed the idea of moving further South for now.

My husband has worked for many years at Gloucester Graphics and will for at least another five years.

I created this little video to put some feelers out there to see if anyone, perhaps a parent with a child attending a nearby school, might entertain the “house swap” idea!

I was hoping you might recommend a community page where it would be appropriate to post. We have “Andover Mums” here, which is 10,000 strong-I wondered if you might have something similar. Thanks so much for your time,

Nancy Earley Wright

Weekend Brunch at Oliver’s Harbor

Did you know Oliver’s Harbor on Main Street serves breakfast and brunch on the weekends? We went last week for brunch and it was superb. Jim had an omelet and I had the Belgian waffle. The two waffles were topped with very fresh fruit and whipped cream. Oh, it was good! Highly recommended if you want something a little special for your weekend breakfast. 8 AM to noon Saturday and Sunday.
