  1. What?? Not here in lil Cape Ann.. what the heck… scary times… I’m surprised they didn’t alert the MBTA and train conductor and have them be deverted as well.. I wonder if they could have gotten “prints” off this thing of who left such an odd thing there of all places… right near where people would go a lot at a train depot and clothes drop off.. and also wondering exactly what was it? Thank you for the video…. showin’ the police “at work” protecting us… God bless them too… amen.

  2. Apparently it was a homemade-looking bike light. FOR THE RECORD I GET ALL MY BIKE LIGHTS FROM BIG MIKE’S. The bigger questions are: aren’t those boxes messy as hell? Clothes and crap are always piled up around them. We have plenty of good clothing donation places right here- like the Second Glance on Pond Road which helps people in our area. Second Question: Is that a good place for that box? It faces a public transportation hub where people gather at select times? Seems like a security risk. It should be moved/gotten rid of.

    1. Thank you for answering that Jamesdowd… yes I agree about the crappy unappealing appearance of that clothes bin right there. What an eyesore of a mess that was… Would also draw rats and other rodents I’d think if dirty and gross enough. I agree NOT a good place for that clothes donation box. For safety (because anyone could put something dangerous in there) it should be put somewhere better.

      1. Sadly, as of this morning it’s not “was” an eyesore it still “is” an eyesore. The clothes, shoes and whatnot are still strewn all over the place. Who is responsible for maintianing these things? Jeesh!
