Hi Joey, Do your readers remember the Easter Parades on the Boulevard?
My family won a prize in 1960. Pictured are Virginia (Frontiero) and Robert McKinnon and our children, twins in carriage, Roberta and Regina, Lola, Mary-Ellen and Hilary.
I made the matching outfits for my two oldest children. Later we were blessed with two more children, Michael and Carol. We will be celebrating our 60th Wedding Anniversary this year.
Happy Easter.

I clearly remember the Easter Parade on the Blvd. I really enjoyed seeing this picture. Congrats on your 60th anniversary.

Cookie, We were living across the street from you on Hartz St. Many happy memories of your mother and I going walking with our children, pushing our baby carriages.

Cookie, I remember you all from across the street, especially your brother Timmy and I still remember that suit my mother made for me and Lola, even though the drapes were nice to have though. Hope you all are doing ok. Still remember your dad and Milton rebuilding the house after the fire. Does not seem so long ago. Miss Timmy a lot, he was always good to me, such a sad loss but aren’t they all. Take care. Hilary

Very charming photo and beautiful family Virginia–and beautiful outfits, too–I can see all the tailoring in your sons suit and daughters coat took great skill!

Thank you for your kind words Kim and to everyone for their comments.
Happy Easter to all. My family was together for a wonderful Easter Brunch at the Gloucester House. Imagine four of the five children in the picture are now grandparents. .

Back in the late 50s, my mother and father would make me walk the boulevard w them for parade, and we’d sing that Easter Parade song! Thanks for sharing this great photo!

Loved looking at a real family portrait – mostly happy but there is always one who doesn’t look so happy. Had she eaten too much Easter chocolate so that her tummy hurt – I remember that feeling.
