You can balance an egg any day of the year. How would the sun’s position above the equator translate to forces straight in line w/the Earth’s core up here at latitude 43? This is an urban myth that just won’t quit. Try it today. Try it tomorrow. Try it on tax day. Try it on your mom’s birthday. It’ll still work.
Oops, no photos, I ate the proof. In Australia they are balancing Duck Billed Platypus eggs. The magic wears off by noon when bologna sandwiches can then be stuck on the ceiling of your kitchen!

Tried it this a.m., but it didn’t balance 😦 I tried it at exactly 7:03 a.m. when it was the Equinox.
