How To Set An Anchor Question

Hello Joey, Can post this; Being a novice boater, I wonder if anyone can tell me how to set an anchor at winga? Knobulus@charter.net or at the low tide marina.. Thanks so much!

  1. if you’re using a Danforth anchor go a little beyond the spot you where you want to set the anchor and drop it. Put the boat in reverse and the anchor will set as you move backward. Be careful of the tides at Wingaersheek, or you may find yourself waiting for an incoming tide before you can leave!
