I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people. Nice shot! Love the framing and the nice greens with the blue and pops of red.

Ah, the memories. If only the cove could talk. I spent the first 30 or so years of my life near or on the cove. My dad taught me to sail in Bickford Boat Service’s “Privateer”. I kept my first sailboat there on a mooring when Bickford’s became Hills and home of the Yankee Fleet. Courted a couple young ladies thereabouts, Kept John Hayes Hammond, Jr.s “Irene” on a mooring there the two summer I cared for it and took my kids for their first sails there, and hung out at Bill Sibley’s boatshop where cousin Larry Dahlmer has his studio and drank coffee daily at Sailor Stans x Drift Inn x Peters’ among other things.
