Huge Green Silo On The State Fish Pier
There are two huge green things that look like silos on the State Fish Pier. I have no idea what they are for. Anyone care to venture a guess?

Dead Seagull
I wonder how this guy met his maker? He wasn’t run over or his guts would be jutting out of his sides. He didn’t get stuck in a vat of slime eels because he is clearly dry. I wonder what did him in.

Tom Ring- A Great Story Teller
Tom is another great character on the Gloucester waterfront. You could listen to his crazy stories for hours and hours and die laughing. There are a few guys like this still around. Guys like Manny and Tom Porter, Busty Brancleone, Tom Ring, Carlo Moceri- the guys that should have book deals because they were real hard working fishermen and not posers that drove around in trucks all day avoiding work like the plague.

Tom Ring Aboard The Orin C
Tom used to fish with Linda Greenlaw. You can check out her website by clicking this text. He tells me that she is in the process of doing a show about swordfishing but the first trip they went out they ended up having to return to port broke down.

Italian Cookies At Andiamos
25 cents each is a great price. You could grab eight and head over to your friends for coffee for $2.00. These kind are good for dunking in your coffee.

Butter Me Up at Seasons On Main
This over sized sleeping shirt for women can be found at Seasons On Main Street. The placement of the pincher claws seems a little precarious.

Shaw’s Market Renovation 9/24/08
Renovations to make Shaw’s Parking lot more accessible and less dangerous from a slope perspective have begun. The facade will also undergo a renovation to make it more appealing.
The question remains, will prices be lowered enough to compete with the Market Basket that will be going into Gloucester Crossing?
