Join Assistant Curator Laura Johnson of Historic New Englandon Sunday, April 14, at 2pm for a fascinating tale of Judith Sargent Murray’s influence on women’s education, the world of domestic arts and the sampler that reflects multiple stories and connections to Gloucester and its history. The sampler was donated to the Museum by Virginia Pleasants, and will be permanently installed following the lecture. A free will donation is suggested; members are admitted free of charge.
