Parent Night At School Madeline shows us her Kindergarten painting depicting what she wants to be when she grows up. A fashion designer in Paris. Nice aspiration right there Madeline. Much better than what she told us she wanted to be last year- a taxi driver or a hole puncher. Imagine a career as a hole puncher.

Love that she has designed a pink and red peace symbol shirt, with Eiffel tower in the
background!!
When Liv was three, I read her a story about a life in a castle, which included a pig keeper. The following Halloween, she insisted on being a pig keeper. So I made her a medieval pig keepers costume, which included a little wicker basket with a baby pig. When people asked what she was–I replied a pig keeper, of course. Doesn’t every little girl want to be a taxi driver, pig keeper, or hole puncher at some point in her life?

I think she has a future in fashion…today she asked me to teach her how to sew…I can’t wait to see what she creates on my machines!

I could imagine myself being a hole puncher in the not-so-distant future. 🙂
