As long as supplies last if any GMG folks want a bumper sticker but can't drop down the dock, just send a self addressed and stamped envelope longer then 7 and a half inches and I'll drop one in the mail for you.
Send the self addressed and stamped envelope to the dock at 95 East Main St Gloucester Ma 01930 care of Joey (put my name in big letters to make sure it gets to me)

What happens when what is left of the dunes gets washed away? Would the parking lot be next?

A winter beach usually loses a lot of sand during high wave action winter storms. The sand returns with a summer full of small wave action waves. This equilibrium can be changed with big winter storms taking out a lot of sand. It may take a few years to get it back to “normal”. This is all layered upon the fact that sea level is rising so beaches want to migrate inland.

Maybe, someday, oceanfront property owners will have diving boards on their porches.

what a sobering thought of maybe not having the beach that so many of us enjoyed for years and years . Did I take G.H.B. for granted ? Guilty as charged ! What is the answer ? Hope the storms and tides cooperate the next few years. This is wicked bad. I should be more informed on this matter (regrettably i’m not) so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
