Cape Ann SUP comes through when your car is on the fritz and you need to get some lobsters from Capt. Joe & Sons for a big party. Wendie Demuth and I paddled over to pick up the lobsters for the lobster dip that people will enjoy Sunday at the book party at Khan Studio and the Good Morning Gloucester Gallery, 77 Rocky Neck Ave., G3. Everyone’s invited.

The trip probably only took half as long by SUP than it would have by car!! Great idea – the lobsters didn’t escape back into the harbor on the way back, I hope.

It took a little longer than it would have by car, but was much greener and more relaxing for me and the lobsters, who didn’t even try to escape and seemed to enjoy the trip.

I’ll have to suggest that to Joey, but I could only deliver to restaurants and people on the water. And I’d have to be careful. Once people got to know that I was a courier for such valuable cargo I might get highjacked by lobster pirates.
