The other day, a friend took me to Ravenswood Park for the first time.  Good thing I wasn’t alone, or I would probably have either gotten lost or missed out on some of the beautiful spots in the park! This is a great place to go for a walk. Just bring lots of bug repellant…

  1. The seven hundred acres we call Ravenswood was given to the city by one of its greatest benefactors, Samuel Elwell Sawyer (1815-1889). The same man who gave us our library. He must have been an amazing person. Ravenswood is beautiful in all seasons.

  2. Love Ravenswood too, and love the top picture of that spot with the ferns, somewhere in that area it could be that square rock it looks like a head with the ferns as the hair, fantastic…..
