Gloucester’s North Shore Arts Association Annual Art Auction and Gala August 14th

Dear Joey,
Could you please publish this in GMG on behalf of NSAA. I know I owe you a
batch of homemade macaroons. Hope you are enjoying summer on Cape Ann.
Gloucester’s North Shore Arts Association Annual Art Auction and Gala
fundraiser will take place on Saturday, August 14th.
Many recognized artists from among the more than 350 members who contribute
to the NSAA event include: John Caggiano, Ray Crane, David Curtis, Tom Gill,
Robert Gruppe, Ken Knowles, Don Mosher, Charles Movalli, Dale Radcliffe,
Marilyn Swift and Jeff Weaver, among others.
The more than 150 works of art are available for viewing this week free of
charge at the NSAA gallery, 11 Pirates Lane in East Gloucester. Bids will be
accepted all week on silent auction pieces up to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday,
August 14th.
There will be a free opening reception to meet the artists on Sunday, August
8th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Live Auction Gala on August 14 begins with a preview reception, with
hors d’oeuvres provided by Passports Restaurant of Gloucester, an open wine
bar, and live jazz music from the John Payne Band. Participants in the
Silent Auction need not be present at the Live Auction Gala, once bids are
recorded. Absentee bids will be accepted for all Silent and Live Auction
works until 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 13.
Auctioneer Frank Kaminski hosts the Live Auction, which starts at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets to the Gala and Live Auction are only $25 and reservations are
recommended as the event sells out every year.
For reservations call NSAA at 978-283-1857 or visit
