Kathy Kelleher’s letter of praise captured it all … though she perhaps didn’t mention the Bean, her charming sister, and the family uber-cat. As a native Vermonter who has been living in California for what seems like a million years, I also stumbled on your web-site and read it every night here. It is a virtual taste of New England that is a taste of home … from the great food, to the boats and the harbor, to the spirit of community. My first serious love, a wonderful man who hailed from Merrimac, took me to Gloucester years ago … we sat on the espanade watching the bridge go up and down. A great memory. Now, because of your website, we are talking about making sure we come back for a visit.

I’m sure i can speak for all of your devoted readers in saying that we appreciate the work each and every one of you do. I for one have become much more involved in participating in community causes and activities just by learning about them here.
You have made Gloucester a much nicer place to live.
