Here is a video from a lobsterman up in Maine showing how lobster pots get set. For the most part the smaller harbor lobstermen that fish out of skiffs might fish 2 pot trawls like the guy in this video. Most full time lobstermen that fish the outside of the breakwater will fish ten or twenty pot trawls though.
