Hats Off to Flag Day

_2018_03_30_102862

“Flag Day falls within National Flag Week, a time when Americans reflect on the foundations of the nation’s freedom. The flag of the United States represents freedom and has been an enduring symbol of the country’s ideals since its early days. During both events, Americans also remember their loyalty to the nation, reaffirm their belief in liberty and justice, and observe the nation’s unity”

Oh Say Can You See?

It’s Flag Day, one of those commemorations that sometimes gets lost in the patriotic shuffle between Memorial Day and July 4th. Although a Flag Day holiday hasn’t been an official national observance very long (only since 1949), celebrations of the flag’s birthday June 14 1777 have been held since 1885. Gloucester really steps it up when it comes to flying the Ole Stars and Stripes all year round.

Unwind Hair & Makeup Broken Into Schedule and Salon Software Stolen

Today is a new day! As some of you may know, Unwind Luxury.Vegan.Beauty got broken into yestersday. Although, they managed to take all of our electronics we will not let them break our spirits here in Gloucester. But, because they took our schedules and salon software we are reaching out to see if you had an appointment in the future at 117 Main Street if you could please call the salon at 978-282-1900 to let us know when that is it would help us get back to running smoothly again. They can shake us, but will not break us. Thank you to the amazing community for all of the outpouring of support. We are grateful the GPD has done a great job locating this person as well and we hope that it puts an end to the spree of these break ins to our local, amazing small businesses. You can also email us: unwindhairandmakeup@gmail.com
