2016 Rotary Calendar

image

The 2016 Rotary Raffle Calendars are printed and can now be purchased. This calendar is our best ever, displaying the award winning photos of Cape Ann taken by serious amateur and professional photographers. Calendars can be purchased from any Gloucester Rotarian or at these locations: BankGloucester, Cape Ann Savings Bank, First Ipswich Bank, and Local Colors. $20.00 each.  All profits go to the club’s GHS scholarships and many other worthy community and Rotary International projects. An added bonus is that this is a raffle calendar, and all are numbered, with a limited number being printed. The Club will be giving away $50.00 every week next year. There will be “bonus” giveaways of $250.00 the 2nd Tuesday of June 2016 and $500.00 the 2nd Tuesday of December 2016.

Treetop Yoga Studio: The Premier Yoga Studio on Cape Ann

Cape Ann Wellness News http://www.capeannwellness.com

Cape Ann Wellness

Yoga studios are opening and closing on the North Shore faster than you can say chaturanga! It is amazing to be a part of a community where the demand for yoga is high, yet we recognize it can be confusing navigating the in’s and out’s of what makes each studio different. What sets Treetop apart and makes us unique? We’ve narrowed it down for you to make it easy!

1. Time-tested, community-approved!

Treetop is the oldest yoga studio still open on Cape Ann.  We have been serving this community for over 8 years, and we’re going strong! You can be sure to expect a lot more from us for many years to come.

“I have been to other studios and I think Treetop is by far the best.  It is clean and inviting, the staff is friendly and amazing. AND the clientele is friendly.  I honestly feel like it’s one big family.”

Tree lighting in Gloucester last weekend….tree lighting in Rockport this weekend.

Pick #1:  Christmas in Rockport

1:00 Saturday, December 5th

It is only fitting that in the incredibly quaint, picturesque, and perfect town of Rockport, Santa should arrive by lobster boat. This has been a tradition for as long as I can remember, but please note, that this year’s schedule will be a little bit different.

Santa has decided that he would like more time to linger, shop, and visit with the townsfolk so he has cleared his afternoon schedule to arrive in Rockport earlier than normal.

Santa’s boat should be arriving at T-Wharf at 1:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, December 5th. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 4:00. That leaves a nice amount of time to shop, explore, walk our new breakwater, grab a snack or some cocoa, and maybe get some one on one time with Santa himself.
