Announcing the 31st Cape Ann Artisan Studio Tour

ANNOUNCING THE 31st CAPE ANN ARTISAN STUDIO TOUR!
26 artisans will be welcoming visitors into their studios during the tour on June 21-22
from 10-5 pm. Those of you who have followed the tour before will be treated to new
work by veteran artisans and become acquainted with the work of artisans who have
joined in recent years. The work comes in many shapes, sizes, and media including:

SELL-OUT WARNING: THE TOASTERS on Beauport Princess Cruise Ship with the MILE 21 Reunion Next Friday
If you’ve been following our recent posts (like this one) you know we’ve been warning you of potential sell-outs, so you don’t lose out.
Last weekend’s James Cotton/Jay Geils show at The Larcom in Beverly sold out by Wednesday.
Next Friday’s (6/13) Concert Cruise featuring The Toasters with a special reunion of local favorites Mile 21 aboard Gloucester’s very own cruise ship, Beauport Princess is likely to sell out too.
The Toasters (called Ska “Pioneers” by Billboard Magazine) will bring their infections brand of Ska, Reggae, Jazz, Punk & Soul to Gloucester as part of their 2014 world tour.
Mile 21’s 2014 reunion features Lead Vocalist Mike Francis, Carlos Menezes, Jr. on trombone, Keith Amero on Bass, Steve Russo on Drums, Mike Lentini on saxophone, and Mike Goulart on lead guitar.  These guys alone are worth the price of admission.
Tickets are only $35 in advance and include this very special Concert PLUS a Gloucester Harbor Cruise and Party Buffet featuring Seafood Grille’s world famous Lobster Rolls!
As you might expect, seating is limited (this is a cruise ship, remember) so if you want to get aboard, you’re going to have to act quickly and get your tickets here.
You don’t want to be one of those losers who waits until it’s sold out and then tries to convince Homeland Security to let you aboard, do you?

I got a call at about 5:30am from Joey. He couldn’t get away from the dock to cover the event. I was tired and pissed but I obey’d Joey and I did have a good time. Hopefully Gloucester will get the TRI Back.

This morning I created this recipe for my daughter Amanda, who requested freshly baked scones for breakfast. I thought I whip up a batch using slightly overripe strawberries, and extra coconut milk leftover from another recipe. The results were great! The scones are light and fluffy, and not overly sweet. Tuck this recipe into your recipe box…strawberry season is around the corner! Â

The bottle survived a 3 week journey in the ocean and 3 day journey on land, before I opened it.
I called the company today and I am hoping to return the bottle and message to the boy! 🙂

Recently, Hannah and I decided to make a new fresh ceviche recipe. Next we pitched some fresh chips in oil we keeps it real. Now look closely at the bowl and at my chip. There’s a secret ingredient thats creatively thrown in the mix here. Can you see it? Do you know what it is? Is it local? Was it alive? Is it Vegan?
