In the Spirit of Giving – A Gift to Maritime Gloucester Will Continue to Give
Our Mission:
To inspire students and visitors to value marine science, our maritime heritage and environmental stewardship through hands-on education and experiences.
A donation to Maritime Gloucester is a wonderful way to give back during this season of giving. Your gift will impact our work to inspire, support, and inform about marine science.
Nearly 4,500 students from more than 70 schools and educational groups, including more than 1,000 students from Gloucester and Rockport schools have participated in our programs. Maritime Gloucester directly responds to the challenge facing our nation today to engage students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Please consider making a gift to help support our mission.

Gloucester Community Comes Together to Support Children
Every holiday season, with the support of the community HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change) holds a holiday store for children who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence. Donations of toys are brought to HAWC’s Gloucester office and staff and volunteers display the toys on shelves for clients to select for their children. It is the generosity of local community groups such as the Strokers Hot Rod Club of Gloucester that make the store possible and bring joy to many children this holiday season. Thank you to Frank D’Agostino, Bob Kern, Nancy Sykes and LeBaron Hazen who delivered the toys.
HAWC has provided free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence since 1978. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please contact HAWC’s 24 hour hotline 1-800-547-1649 or HAWC’s Gloucester office at 978-282-3251.For more information on HAWC’s services, please visit http://www.hawcdv.org
