I’ve never been on a whale watch but every single person I’ve ever talked to that has gone on them said it was awesome (yes I used the word awesome)

Every time I get company from out of town the first thing they want to do is goon a whale watch so I’ve been on a lot of them. I’ve seen some amazing stuff! Once a group of whales began “bubble-feeding”.
But the best was when my five year old nephew was having a bad day. Everyone was on one side of the boat watching whales off in the distance and I took my nephew around to the other side to get him calmed down. We were sitting there all by ourselves when a humpback swam up right in front to us and “spy-hopped” us. It was almost like he was saying, “What’s wrong, little guy?”
My nephew is in high school now and he still remembers that.

Yeah, I’ve been on them also but unfortunately all I can say is ‘WHALE SAFE ROPE’ Sorry still very bitter that our lobstermen & Maine lobstermen had to change great rope for worthless rope that doesn’t last on the rocks. Nuff said. SORRY. I speak how I feel. No more whale watches for me. Doesn’t matter what state I’m in. I love lobstermen to much so sit by & watch them pay the price because of 1 or 2 whales getting caught in rope. The lobstermen I know have never even seen a whale when they haul, yet they had to change rope. Really nuff said because I’m sitting here getting all the more hatefull just thinking about whales & rope. Guess you can’t please all the people all the time. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!

By the way, no I didn’t watch the video. Not of interest to me. Sorry Joey. You know how I feel about the industry. At least I think you know. But come to think about it I have never really sat down & actually told you just exactly how I feel about the fishing & lobstering industry. Especially the lobster industry. Hope I didn’t offend you Joey. But that is a subject so close to my heart that I have to say what I feel. Please don’t take offense.

Find a tourist (or children love it too) and go on a whalewatch! Such a fun thing to do. Better then a movie (for the same price), because it is live and you get to be outside. Don’t know if is still true, but Capt. Bill was giving discounts to locals…win, win, win 🙂
