A pretty light load. I’m thinking they will need many more passengers to make it worth while.

Anyone who would like to compete in the solo dory races on Saturday, the 26th
of July, should be at the footbridge in Annisquam at 3 p.m. to register.
The race time has been changed to 4 p.m. due to the tide. This event is
taking place during the Annisquam Sea Fair and should have a large group
of spectators. The IDRC president has every intention of winning this
race by as wide a margin as possible. All members are encouraged to come
watch or compete in this 1st-ever solo event!
Tickets for the fund-raising sail aboard the schooner “Thomas E. Lannon”
are here-by offered first to you members. There are only 49 tickets
available. Cost is $50.00 pp. This event will be a celebration of the
construction of the new race boats. We wish we could give some of you
who have done so much complimentary tickets but the Committee has
decided we need this fund to make the first installation payment for the
new boats. I will be purchasing 2 tickets for Laurel and I and also will
be performing mid-sail!
There has been a large growth in new members and we are currently unable
to accommodate the demand for loaner equipment and new oars. Anyone who
has loaner equipment and is not using it please return it to me asap.
Those of you who are looking for new oars, we are out but are picking up
more in early September.
Get involved! Come enjoy these wonderful events and people!

Colored glass rods line the back wall of Beth Williams Studio. These colored glass rods will be used to make the unique pieces that Beth produces.
I imagine that if you are not extremely well organized this place could turn ito an unmanageable mess in a hurry but Beth keeps everything in colorful order.
You walk into the place and it’s like a huge color orgy.
