  1. I had a small dead seal in the cove this summer which was basically a seal skin full of maggots. I was waiting for a nice set of bones (yeah, I know you aren’t even supposed to take a bone maritime law blah blah) but some critter came along and ate her face. Once she was down to a stinky set of ribs I tossed her in the cat briar figuring I would get the bones around now. But every bit is gone.

    Or maybe it was Joey who took her head?

    nb. At one point her body was right in front of a nice bench on the Atlantic Path. She was so stinky I moved her off a short distance and had to dig out and replace the stinky dirt with really weird beetles embedded.
