ME tennis star Collens commits to New Mexico St. University
By Conor Walsh Correspondent
Brittany Collens earned it, there’s no denying that.
After deciding to focus much of her adolescence to tennis, the senior at Manchester Essex went all in, leaving the Hornets’ program after her freshman year to devote endless hours to her training at the Manchester Athletic Club.
I’m a huge fan of The Manchester Athletic Club and grew up playing tennis there.
The program now compared to when I was there has taken off to a whole new level pumping out tennis scholarship athletes yearly.

Brittany, is an amazing young women, athlete and role model. Amanda has been fortunate to call her an Academy Mate and friend for the past several years. It’s always great to see the kids in the academy reconized and rewarded for their hardwork, deadication, and many sacrifices they have chosen to make to get to this point in their tennis/academic career. We are sad she will be moving away, and will miss her infectious beautiful smile on and off the court at the club, but we couldn’t be any more thrilled for Brittany, her family, and the coaching staff at the MAC for this incrediable opportunity and wish her best!….Brittany your officially on Mrs. Mohans college carepackage list!<3
