A flock of sparrows perched upon a wooden fence
An American eagle soaring across the sky
Man’s best friend by his owner’s side in perfect cadence
A first digger of clams working the flats
Our Fishing Fleet at full labor
Lobstermen making ready to set their traps
The gifts of nature blooming in full flavor
Monuments and statues carved in granite and stone
Our countries flag flying in the morning breeze
The MIA flag always at searching stance
Telling our beloved in our hearts their not alone
Visions are also within my heart and soul
That our children should never live in fear
This above all else is the prayer my words unfold
It is the vision that I see so sharp and clear
