Really Open Rehearsal and "Paint-in"
with Music at Eden’s Edge Chamber Music Ensemble

Artists are invited to attend this rehearsal and use the musicians as live models; or interpret the music through painting or just listen. Whatever you wish, you may share in the rehearsal process that leads to musical performance while surrounded by inspiring works of art in NSAA’s spacious gallery!
Open to Artist and Associate Members and Friends.
This is a goodwill donation event.

HISTORIC NEW ENGLAND OPEN HOUSE DAY
BEAUPORT, SLEEPER – MCCANN HOUSE AND COGSWELL’S GRANT
If you haven’t experienced the sun-drenched terraces of Beauport in Gloucester, the atmosphere of a Vintage Baseball Game at the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury, a sneak peek into one of America’s finest folk art collections at Cogswell’s Grant in Essex, or a game of croquet in the historic Phillips House backyard, your time has arrived.
Historic New England, the nation’s oldest and largest heritage organization, will offer ten free experiences in the North Shore, spanning over three hundred years or history. Free house tours will be available at all North Shore properties on Saturday, June 2.
On Cape Ann, please visit the Beauport, Sleeper-McCann House on Eastern Point and see the newly restored landscape, open 10 am – 5 p.m. and Cogswell’s Grant in Essex, open 11 am – 5 p.m. Free guided tours are available on the hour.

CAST I Hate Hamlet Final Performances
Unsolicited comments on CAST’s production of “I Hate Hamlet”:
"I laughed so hard, my ear fell off," said V. Vangoe after seeing Cape Ann Shakespeare Troupe’s production of "I Hate Hamlet". “I lost thirty pounds and one inch off my waist”, W.H. Tafte. “Funnier than “Othello” and not nearly as long”, G.B. Shor. The witty and sometimes touching (but in a good way) comedy is finishing its run this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 3 PM at The Cape Ann (The Annie), 1 Washington Street (corner of Main), Gloucester. Directed by Ray Jenness, this delightfully funny piece written by Paul Rudnick features Beth Bevins, Evie Gariepy, David McCaleb, Beebe Nelson, Nick Neyeloff and Graig Owen.

ALL Women of Faith….take some time from your busy schedules to enjoy the company of women in song in prayer at the Bass Rocks Elks function hall, Gloucester, on Tuesday, June 12, from 3-7PM and Wednesday, June 13th from 9AM-4PM (Dinner and lunch provided).
The women from Holy Family Parish Gloucester , are sponsoring ValLimar Jansen, a highly regarded singer, cantor, and recording artist. She is also a college professor, a leader of worship and prayer and a presenter at workshop conferences across the United States . Known especially for her work with gospel, contemporary Christian and gospel-jazz styles, she sings a wide range of music, including spirituals and traditional organ based music. ValLimar will be accompanied by Mary Carol Kendzia with her talents as an experienced accompanist and editing/writing for catechesis and spirituality. The focus for the gathering is on “Women Responding to their Baptismal Call in Challenging Times.” Cost for the day and a-half event is $75.00, {$60.00 for women over 60 years of age.}
