Fishermen Memorial Service
The Fishermen Memorial Service, a ceremony to remember fishermen lost at sea, will be held on Saturday, August 28th. The procession will leave from American Legion Square promptly at 5pm and will proceed
to the Monument of the Gloucester Fisherman on George O. Stacy Boulevard where the ceremony will take place. The public is encouraged to participate in the procession and ceremony. Please bring loose flowers to be scattered into the harbor. Wreaths will be
placed at the Fishermen’s Monument. If raining, the ceremony will be held in American Legion Post 3, corner of Middle and Washington Streets.
