Good day guys. I’m just checking on the lobstering status this year. We will be the keepers on Thacher Island again this year for the month of August. Over the years we’ve had some good luck lobstering and learned a lot about it by actually having to build my own pots from scratch. They may not look perfect but they do catch bugs. During that time I’ve also developed a great respect for all those that head out almost daily and make a living on the ocean. Lobstering is definitely a tough job and I have a high regard for them all. My efforts are with just a few pots that we pull by hand and I can only imagine the work and effort real lobster fishermen go through daily. Anyway, just asking about this years season to get a clue about how much bait I’ll need. Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks for reading.
Respectfully,
John
