Rocky Neck Landing No Beach Sticker Required

A hop, skip, and a jump down this little pathway to a beautiful secluded beach.

Plenty of street parking early in the morning makes this a great spot for folks that don’t have their beach sticker yet.

  1. Joey, Many years ago I worked one summer on a lobster boat in Rocky Neck. The Capt. was a man named Irving Trafrey [ not sure of the spelling]. He lived in a house on Rocky Neck Ave. just behind a small store at the intersection of Wonson and Rocky Neck Ave. I think it may have been a luncheonette. His wife was a waitress in the Studio Resturant.Would you know anything about Irving or his wife.
    Thanks, Charles

  2. Hey we have a Rocky Neck here in Ct, how cool is that! It looks a little the same. Our beach is a sand bar so at low tide you can walk way out without the water coming up higher than your thigh’s or waist. Love it!

Thanks for stopping by my pic’s…
