I wonder if that metal railing was dictated by code? It seems out of place and does a disservice to the style of the building. It seems very industrial for what would seem to call for a more natural material.

  1. i can think of a couple of reasons why the railing may have been done that way..first, it’s good for leaning..which a lot of people do when out there having cocktails…second when seated at the tables on the deck..the railings will probably hinder the view of the course the least of anything available….just guessing, though
