This Thursday, April 29th, Dr. Mandë Holford joins the GMGI Science Hour to talk about her fascinating research on the power of venom. Dr. Holford and her team are working to harness the incredible power of venom into safe, effective drug therapies that benefit human health.
There are far fewer times that I have passed by our Man at the Wheel and not taken a photo than there are times that I have taken photos. Time and time again I find myself taking pause at how his presence helps define our city.

Many of you will recognize this barn as the Windward Grille on Eastern Ave! Though I have not been back since they reopened for indoor dining, I look forward to going soon as it is one of my favorites. I do not know the history of the building but it was at one time clearly a barn and therefore qualifies for a Barn Along the Byway.
