Tour Of The Schooner Thomas E Lannon Workshop Getting Ready

Schooner Lannon 2020 Season Update We hope this message finds you well. Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, our sailing season is going to start later than usual. We will be waiting to hear more information from our state and local government on when it is a safe time to operate. We are currently working tirelessly to get the boat in tip-top shape (with masks and plenty of social distance, of course). Typically, we would start our sailing season on Mother’s Day weekend. However, at this time, we anticipate opening in late June and sailing with limited capacity for the safety of our guests and our crew. Safety is and always will be the most important thing to us. We plan on exceeding the recommended guidelines, and will be sending another update about what precautions we will be implementing. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, and we look forward to being able to sail with you soon. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone out there who is doing their part, especially those on the front lines putting themselves at risk for all of us. We are truly grateful, and look forward to better days when we can all come together again. Take care, and best wishes.

Oriole Sighting!

Captured my first Baltimore Oriole of the season in the backyard this morning, right on time as they are expected to return the first part of May. We have also sighted a hummingbird, but the camera operator wasn’t on top of her game at that fleeting moment. Welcome back orioles and hummingbirds. What a great treat first thing this Sunday morning!

It’s Go Time For The Birdies

Property Sales: April 2019 vs April 2020

Cape Ann Home

The chart shows the MLS statistics and roughly half as much Cape Ann real estate traded in April 2020 as in April of 2019.

But the story isn’t quite as grim. The good news is that it can still happen, even with our current restrictions in place, because some people really want to sell and some really want to buy.
