Wow, I moved to Gloucester in 1973 and lived on the back shore and I I remember at 3:30 am every morning the boats steaming out and then every afternoon the day boats returning loaded to the gunnels with redfish (pogies) off the back shore rounding the dog bar coming home to Lipmans to unload, but when I look at these photos, they look so old, like a time in the past, and yet I was here and young and this was going on. Definitely history and a thing today’s kids cannot imagine or understand.

Thanks for the comment. I was young also. I considered it current events. When you are young you don’t think you are observing history.
