Smoked at 225 degrees (smoker grate temp) to internal 120 degrees and then seared over the coals to 125 internal.
Slathered with EVOO, then a coating of coarse salt and black pepper and then a second coat of Montreal steak seasoning.

Apple chunk and cherry wood chips for smoke, meat placed opposite coals.

Once the ribeye hit 115 internal pulled it and bunched up the coals and opened all the vent to get them glowing orange.

Seared over hot coals brought internal temp to 125 and then pulled them to rest for 10 minutes.

The perfect rare steak.

We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Here we go again: The AMERO FAMILY CHRISTMAS!
![Amero_Family_Xmas[1]](https://goodmorninggloucester.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/amero_family_xmas1.jpg?w=700)
It has become an unstoppable tradition. So very festive and fun. Sister Linda and Brother J.B. jump on
the Rhumb Line sleigh once again as we ride through the night with joyous song and merriment. I’ll have
a brand new Christmas tune to showcase, Linda knocks us out every year, J.B. has his own surprises in
store… and the rest is future history. Let us sit by Fred’s cozy, imaginary fire and toast to a bright holiday
season and the wonderful friendships we all share on this tiny island! It kicks off early… 7-10pm. ~ Fly

Looking forward……to seeing you there 🙂
For gifts and gift ideas, we have so many great places to shop. Yesterday went to Cape Pond Ice and the Olive Oil store. 90% of our Christmas gifts were bought locally. Love going into the stores and the owners are there and they know your name.

While out with three amazing friends the other night, the conversation of future “girls’ trips” arose. That conversation spun into, “If everyone would stop having new babies, maybe we could get away some time soon.”
As one of the ones who has been done “having babies” for 6.5 years and who never had desire to try for a 3rd….I’ve been ready for some girls’ weekends away for quite some time now.
That conversation led to this awesome wine glass.
Amen.

There were carolers this weekend but most of the stores I hit were going to be open all the way to Christmas Eve. So that pair of earrings or feather boa, salad bowl, or nutcracker, or that weird gift, the big stone thing to put in the garden and put a candle inside.
Bearskin Neck is a must but make sure you make it all the way down main street because there are gold mines of goodies all through town.
The best part is easy in and out. Rockport meters are all covered and plenty of street parking available.

Gloucester emergency personnel were called to the wharf at Americold on East Main Street around 12:30 this afternoon after a body was found in the pilings, leading to the possibility that it could be the Rockport woman who went missing this weekend.
Family and friends of Susan Nilsson of Rockport have gathered at the scene.

The tongue is just too much to take. Not only possessing the length but equally impressive girth.
Strap on the gimp mask and he might as well be Brad Pitt under there.

If I had a nickle for every time The Rabbit uttered the phrase “I am a prism” I probably could have paid for a couple extra nights in Playa.
