North Shore Arts Association offers famed artist and teacher Frank Federico’s Pastel Workshop, June 26, 27 and 28. The painterly pastel returns. Capture the poetic beauty of nature through plein air, sketches and photos for studio work in this workshop which is designed to add new dimension to creative painting; not in the sense of imitation, but as an essential path of expression of one’s thoughts and feelings when interpreting nature and subject matter in general. Federico says, “We will push boundaries by looking for the essence, by personalizing color, and by enhancing composition elements. The purpose is to convey a free, open and colorful mood in your work by examining content, execution and technique.”
Come join a veteran artist and teacher in an exploration of learning. Sign up online at www.nsarts.org or call 978 283-1857.
