I Went Yard

To the Yard House, that is.

I’m pretty certain that I wrote about a yummy meal at the Yard House over a year ago, but it stands repeating.

After a day that involved the boys setting out lobster traps, me beginning to pack for our week’s vacation to Nantucket, some bike riding, playing of catch, an early Father’s Day lunch at Captain Carlo’s on the deck for my dad (because we’ll be away), hockey practice, and the dropping of boys off at my mom’s, Freddy and I did some birthday shopping for Finn and then landed at the Yard House at Market Street for a late dinner.

Totally yummy.

  1. I have a Yard House about a hundred yards from my lab and our favorite lab outing is 50% off Appetizers. My only complaint is that the Yard House no longer sells their beer in one yard tall glasses, only half yards.

After many failures I finally achieved the ability to finish a yard and not get a face wash as the little tsunami wave rolled down the glass, but soon after they banned the yard glasses since they were a bit tipsy and breaking one made a mess. 😦

Like my ability to juggle Rubber Ducks and bocce balls, another wasted talent, unappreciated.

  2. Not at the same time! While I can do two rubber ducks and one bocce ball or three ducks or three bocce balls the yard of ale would have to be before or after. Maybe one of those beer helmets.

  3. Now that’s what I call stacked deck here – got to keep reaching up to the skies the limit! In reference to the yard drink, do they have a “life guard on duty in case you fall in?” Joking only of course!! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂

Santana – Festival – 06 – Reach Up 🙂 I like the food to reach up to!!
