Thanks Terry. B&W emphasizes form,texture,shadow,contrast and composition. These elements are often obscured by the presence of color.

Dave, you are so right ! And Marty, black and white photography is the aristocracy of the art . My husband devoted his professional life to it, and taught me how to appreciate it in shades of grey, black and white .
