Bee Balm (Monarda didyma) is the top photo, loved by bees and hummingbirds. The lower photos are of Culver’s Root (Veronicastrum virginicum), providing nectar for butterflies and bees.

You have to love freaky bees. I’ve noticed many more honey bees around this year than I recall seeing in a long time. Yay bees!
