Thank you Karen, –I was thinking about that very subject, patience, just this morning, while standing on the marsh shivering for two hours. I almost didn’t go, but then it was so worth it as what unfolded today was an epic battle between two territorial egrets.

Wow memories here – these herons remind me of the classic 1969 song by Mama Cass and they are Making their own kind of music in the water here! 🙂
