Something beautiful to look at on all sides where you are! Nice to see the rainbow after a storm. Great shots!

A wet bird in a location like this can be dangerous moisture or precipitation will wet feathers making them better conductors. Wind and weather might drive otherwise soaring birds to instead take a high perch and therefore increase their probability to be electrocuted.

Well that hawk was fine – he flew off shortly after I took his photo. And nice thing about being on Rocky Neck – you never have to chase rainbows, they just show up outside your door on a pretty regular basis.
