The convention is over now, so I will be back in Gloucester tonight, soon to turn some if the origami enthusiasm of the convention into more works of art!

  1. It is beautiful! Make sure to stop by Aquatro Gallery to visit. I have the works of a lovely Japanese artist Liz Mitsuye Horwitz who makes works in Japanese paper, including origami jewelry. It would be wonderful for the two of you to meet!

    1. Thanks! I do hope to start selling these soon. I just have to get more supplies, learn a bit more about treating the paper to make it last, and figure out the best origami models to use. If I use someone else’s design for the origami part, although I do the folding, I need to get permission and possibly pay royalties. So, I need to consider coming up with my own designs (and find good traditional models that need to royalties). Hopefully, I’ll be selling origami jewelry in a few weeks!
