Due to the increases in all oil based products, the price of lobster buoys have quadrupled. These guys are happy to get their buoys back!

Actually….. I’m correcting myself here… but I think they are “just friends” not married but they’re always attending my church together (and you would wonder if they’re a couple… so sweet). Just very nice people.

Wouldn’t it be nice if more people did that. The profit margin is close enough without people “stealing” buoys they find. Great job!!

Sounds like there could be an Eagle Scout project in there somewhere. Lobstermen are always losing costly buoys and people are always finding them and taking them home. I doubt most people believe they are “stealing” them. Some community outreach education and a buoy “lost and found” location.
