  1. The Graveyard tours will take place this year on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 2-5 p. m. in the Ancient Burial Ground in Essex. Tours will start at the Schoolhouse on 28 Main Street. At 4 p. m. the last tour will leave the schoolhouse. Admission is $10 for all, $5 for students. Refreshments will be served. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 22, same time, same place. See the graves and learn the history of many nationally important as well as regional heroes.

  2. Stop by this Sunday for the Graveyard tour in Essex. Learn from those “dressed the part” about some of the most notorious residents in the Graveyard! Admission includes a visit to the museum on the same site after the tour.
